Happy Birthday - Cardpatterns Sketch #61

This week's sketch by Cardpatterns is incredibly clean and simple - right up my alley!
Happy Birthday - Card Patterns Sketch #61

I'm really impressed by the fact that I was able to stamp the sentiment straight, but what seems to happen often when I stamp, a part of it didn't stamp as well as the rest and it irks me, but not enough to stop me from posting it.. :)

Size of card: 4" square

Card/Paper - Quill cardstock, Inque Boutique "Isn't it Romantic"
Ink - Versacolor "Ash Rose"
Stamp - Hero Arts sentiment
Tools - Fiskars paper trimmer, Martha Stewart Circle Cutter, Fiskars scallop punch, Bostik glue tape

Challenge: Cardpatterns Sketch #61

Thanks for looking!

  1. Simple and sweet! :)

I never stamp straight...kind of resigned to it..;)

  2. Thank you for taking the time to comment, and also for making me realise I'm no longer alone in my stamping-crookedness! :)

  3. So very sweet Jess! I love all the white space and those soft colors. Thanks for playing with us at Card Patterns this week.

  4. Great card! Love your clean and simple take on the sketch, very pretty xx

  5. Love the simple - I oh so struggle with it but love it! Thanks for playing at Card Patterns!
